Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs)
In the United Kingdom many individuals are turning to SIPPs to personally manage their investments. PIA firstcapital enables its managed investment accounts to be accommodated within a SIPP. In conjunction with our brokers, we work with many independent SIPP trustees throughout the UK (see list of current SIPP trustees and administrators below). The benefits of SIPPs are quite straight forward:
Capital Gains Exempt*
Returns within the PIA firstcapital programme are considered as capital gains. SIPPs, being a regulated pension, are exempt of capital gains.
Tax efficient
The money you invest in your SIPP is free of basic rate tax. Upon retirement (minimum age 55), you can make up to 25% of the total pension value as a tax-free lump sum.
Fully flexible
You can choose how and when monies move into the PIA firstcapital programme. That is, you, in conjunction with your trustee, decide when to deposit or withdraw monies from the programme, with all the same benefits that a managed account provides – no entry fee, no lock in periods.
*Tax benefits are subject to each individual’s circumstance. PIA firstcapital does not provide advice on SIPPs. For more information of SIPPs, please contact your financial advisor.
